In the second half of the XIX century was widespread miniature guns for self-defense, but the real revolution in the world of arms made invention gunsmith JE Turbot, developed a self-cocking revolver "Le Protector". Small revolver fits in your palm and, depending on the modification could produce 7 shots 8mm cartridges or 10 shots 6-millimeter ammunition. Cartridges in lethal self-defense weapons were placed in a small disk with a diameter of 51 mm and a thickness of 13 mm.
