The Berlin Wall "recreated" with 8,000 lights

In 1961, a wall separated East from West Germany in 1989 and just reopened the road communication of eastern and western Berlin. The artist Christopher Bauder and director Marc Bauder created an art installation in the name "Lichtgrenze", which runs all the way to the Wall. But instead of cement and barbed 8,000 bright white balloons will be placed in just 2 days.

The installation will begin November 7 at night, symbolizing the fact that the original wall was built literally overnight. In six key points along the route will be displayed historical footage of life during the presence of the Berlin Wall. The Lichtgrenze will light until 9 November, the same day the bright balloons released into the sky.
